Tristate Local Biz is a membership-based platform designed to help local businesses be discovered - without intrusive advertising or pay-to-play favoritism.

Here's how it works:

Businesses choose a membership that fits their needs
We create and host your business page
Customers browse by category, discover promotions, and click through your page
Visibility is earned through participation, not extra fees
Membership is month-to-month. No contracts. Cancel at anytime.

Most importantly, each member receives a dedicated business page with its own URL, which can be shared on social media, Google listings, printed materials, and anywhere customers are looking for your business online.

Membership Options

Two options, depending on how visible and active you want to be with your business.

Starter Membership

The Starter Membership is designed for businesses that want a reliable online presence without needing to manage a full website or post constantly.

It’s a good fit if you want customers to be able to:

Find your business
See what you do
Contact you easily
Share your page when needed

With Starter, we create and host a dedicated business page for you, place it in the appropriate category, and keep it visible within the platform. To keep your page accurate and useful, members can submit up to two (2) updates or promotions per month and update their page information up to two (2) times per month.

This option works well for businesses that:

Prefer a “set it up and keep it current” approach
Don’t need frequent changes or promotions
Want to be listed and discoverable without extensive involvement

Starter is not about constant updates or featured placement — it’s about being present, accurate, and easy to find.

Growth Membership

The Growth Membership is designed for businesses that want to be active and visible, not just listed.

It’s a good fit if you plan to:

Share updates or promotions regularly
Highlight seasonal offerings or events
Keep your page fresh and current
Be featured more prominently within the platform

With Growth, your business receives a dedicated page with expanded visibility, priority placement where applicable, and support for ongoing updates. Members can submit up to four (4) updates or promotions per month and update their page information up to four (4) times per month, allowing for more frequent changes and timely messaging.

This option works well for businesses that:

Intend to participate actively
Want to promote specials, events, or announcements
See value in staying visible and current

Growth is best suited for businesses that are willing to engage regularly and use the platform as an ongoing part of their marketing, not just a one-time listing.

What It Means:

First month on Tristate Local Biz.

How it's Obtained:

Automatically applied during your first month on the platform.

Good to Know:

This badge is removed after your first month on the platform.

The business experienced higher customer interaction on Tristate Local Biz than other members the previous month.

Based on visitor engagement, such as page views and clicks, over the previous month.

How it's Obtained:

Good to Know:

This badge reflects customer interest and activity and may change month to month. It's not a review, rating or endoresment.

What It Means:

This business has been an active member of Tristate Local Biz for 6 months or more.

How it's Obtained:

Awarded to businesses that have maintained up to date information and consistent participation for 6 months or more.

Good to Know:

This badge indicates longevity on the platform, not quality.

What It Means:

This business is currently featured on the Tristate Local Biz Home page, highlighting active participation and timely promotions.

Available to Growth members who actively maintain their profiles and provide current promotions.

How it's Obtained:

Good to Know:

This badge rotates and is not permanent. It's placement is to highlight activity - not endorsements or reviews.

What It Means:

This business was one fo the early supporters of Tristate Local Biz during its launch.

How it's Obtained:

Granted to businesses that joined during the founding period of the platform.

Good to Know:

This badge is permanent and recognizes early support - not a review, rating or endorsement.
